Haiku & Haiku-Style Poetry:

Haiku is a form of Japanese Poetry, in 5 - 7 - 5 syllable form (The English equivalent is 3/5/3 syllables, however 5/7/5 is usually used in English also). Haiku is generally written about Nature with the first two phrases running together and the third phrase standing alone, usually being a word or words symbolising just what the first two are about (Kigo).
Many of these are Haiku-Style because they follow the 5-7-5 pattern but lack the strickt rules.
